The carrying capacity of the Ust-Luga – Baltiysk line is increasing

On October 6, 2022, a ceremony of raising the state flag of the Russian Federation on the automobile and railway ferry General Chernyakhovsky took place in the port of Baltiysk. After the ceremony, the vessel entered the Ust-Luga – Baltiysk line.
The first flight of General Chernyakhovsky will deliver rolling equipment with consumer goods and industrial goods from manufacturers of the Kaliningrad region from Baltiysk to Ust-Luga.
The two-fuel ferry General Chernyakhovsky was built by Nevsky Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant LLC in cooperation with the Turkish shipyard Kuzey Star Shipyard by order of FSUE Rosmorport. The cargo agent of the ferry is LLC Oboronlogistika. (Photo of FSUE Rosmorport)
