April: Stable

Oboronlogistics summed up the results of sea transportation performed in April 2024. In all directions, the indicators are stable and correspond to the level of March 2024.

1. On the Crimea-Caucasus line, the ferries Maria and Lavrentiy made about 218 round trips, transported 11,319 vehicles and 21,555 passengers. Despite the fact that the Lavrentiy spent several days in repairs, the figures did not fall.

 
2. In fact, there were 3 railway ferries on the Ust-Luga – Baltiysk line (Marshal Rokossovsky and General Chernyakhovsky operated continuously, and Ambal on April 15, 2024 came out of scheduled repairs and replaced Baltiysk, which immediately went for repairs).

 
In total, the ferries transported the same amount of cargo as last month, about 96,500 tons of cargo (including about 2,000 wagons and 2,000 units of rolling equipment). The main nomenclature of cargo was fuel, lubricants and construction materials, fertilizers, as well as food.

3. On the St. Petersburg – Kaliningrad line, the bulk carriers Sparta II and Pizhma worked mainly with containerized cargo, setting their own record for the month – in total, they transported about 25,377 tons, including:

 
containers – 1,781 units (25,210 tons);
General cargo – 167 tons.
