Oboronlogistics vessels switched to digital

Obororonlogistics ships digitalization project, which started in December 2023, has been completed. Now m/v Ambal, Lavrentiy, Maria, Pizhma, Sparta, Sparta II, Sparta IV and Ursa Mayor exist in a single digital space with coastal services.

As part of the project, Oboronlogistics specialists built and put into operation local computer networks on the vessels, installed new satellite communication systems, updated computer equipment and office equipment, installed network and server equipment, configured antivirus software and communication monitoring systems, and trained seafarers.

The measures taken made it possible to simplify work processes on the company's vessels and switch to better communications based on a domestic satellite constellation, which guarantees a safe and reliable connection with ships anywhere in the world's oceans, regardless of foreign providers.

Fast information exchange allows you to optimize transport and logistics operations and transportation management, taking into account weather conditions, sea traffic, the condition of ships, and the capabilities of port infrastructure.

The new communication systems provide stable and uninterrupted data transmission to the Software and Hardware Complex and Special Software Modules developed by the company's specialists to improve control over the technical condition of ships and container equipment.
