Oboronlogistics summed up the results of sea transportation performed in May 2024.
1. On the Crimea-Kavkaz line, the ferries Maria and Lavrentiy made 173 round trips, transported about 8,000 vehicles and 12,000 passengers. This is less than last month due to the shutdown of ships due to weather conditions.
2. There were 4 ferries on the Ust-Luga – Baltiysk line (Ambal, Marshal Rokossovsky, General Chernyakhovsky, and from May 15 they were joined by the cargo-passenger ferry Antey).
There and back, ferries transported a total of 113,122 tons of cargo (including about 2,300 wagons and 2,000 units of rolling equipment), which is more than last month. The main nomenclature of cargo was fuel, lubricants and construction materials, fertilizers, as well as food.
3. On the St. Petersburg – Kaliningrad route, the dry cargo ships Sparta II, Pizhma and Ursa Mayor transported a total of 16,362 tons of cargo, including:
containers – 851 units (13,942 tons);
rolling equipment – 101 units (2,357);
general cargo – 63 tons.
