It's hot in July, but it's a pity to part

Oboronlogistics summed up the results of sea transportation performed in July 2024.

1. On the Crimea-Kavkaz line, the ferries Maria and Lavrentiy made a total of about 220 round trips, transported about 10,000 vehicles and more than 18,000 passengers, again exceeding last month's figures.

2. There were 4 ferries on the Ust-Luga – Baltiysk line (Ambal, Antey, Marshal Rokossovsky and General Chernyakhovsky).

There and back, the ferries transported more than 125,300 tons of cargo in total (including 2,418 wagons and 2,401 units of rolling equipment), the same as last month. The main nomenclature of cargo was fuel, lubricants and construction materials, fertilizers, as well as food.

3. In July, the universal dry cargo ship Sparta II operated on the St. Petersburg-Kaliningrad line, it transported more than 10,000 tons of cargo, which is more than last month, including:

containers – 504 units (7,350 tons);

rolling equipment – 127 units (3,080 tons);

general cargo – 39 tons.
