For oil with aid

On April 14, 2023, the next round–trip Novorossiysk – Tartus - Novorossiysk of the cargo ship Sparta IV belonging to Oboronlogistics was completed.

The second batch of humanitarian aid has been delivered to Syria for residents of the earthquake-affected Syrian provinces. The transportation was carried out as part of the joint work of Russian and Syrian companies, as well as the Charity Foundation Pure Heart.

In addition, traditional cargoes intended for the restoration of the Syrian economy and infrastructure have already been transported to the port of Tartus: chemical industry products, construction materials, various technical equipment, automotive equipment from Belarusian manufacturers.

In the opposite direction, the cargo ship delivered another batch of olive oil, as well as power generators that have worked their time. Syrian olive oil has already received positive reviews from Russian buyers. Suppliers and manufacturers count on the successful sale of their products in Russian retail chains.

In March 2023, during the call to Novorossiysk on the ship Sparta IV, routine repairs of the main engine were carried out. The cargo ship is fully ready to perform new flights in the South seas.

The high-speed vessel Sparta IV built in 2017 is designed for the delivery of general, container and bulk cargo, as well as the transportation of goods requiring special conditions, including perishable products, dangerous goods, cars, heavy construction equipment and oversized.

The vessel has two cargo holds and is capable of loading 630 TEU, including 44 refrigerated containers. Two cargo cranes with a lifting capacity of 55 tons each allow for operational cargo handling. The deadweight of Sparta IV is 8,625 tons.
