Oboronlogistics received a letter from the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Syrian Arab Republic, expressing gratitude to the management and employees of the company for organizing and performing sea transportation in the Syrian direction in the first half of 2023, while showing a high level of professionalism and competence.

"Thanks to hard and competent work, sometimes going beyond working hours, all the goods were delivered in complete safety, accurately and on time," the letter says. Especially noted is the prompt organization of the delivery of several shipments of humanitarian aid sent to the Syrian people as part of providing assistance to victims after the devastating earthquake in the northwestern part of the Syrian Arab Republic.

On February 6, 2023, a powerful earthquake occurred in Syria and Turkey, as a result of which thousands of homes were destroyed, tens of thousands of people were injured. In the Syrian Arab Republic, the main impact of the elements fell on Aleppo, Latakia and Tartus.

Electric heating, lighting and household appliances, baby food, medical products, personal hygiene items and basic necessities were transported by flights of the ship Oboronlogistics Sparta IV for the affected regions. The transportation was carried out as part of the joint work of Russian and Syrian companies, the Trade Representative Office of the Russian Federation in the Syrian Arab Republic, as well as the charity foundation Pure Heart.
