Specialists of Oboronlogistics assisted in the transportation of the animal shelter: 127 domestic dogs, accompanied by 4 passengers on a road train, crossed to Kaliningrad by ferry on the route Ust-Luga – Baltiysk.
The road train included a minibus and a special trailer for transporting animals. Accompanying persons provided care and feeding of pets along the entire route. The dogs were provided with all the necessary documents and vaccinations.
The project is socially significant: the wards of the shelter turned out to be homeless at different times and for different reasons, but now in Kaliningrad they are waiting for all the necessary conditions for maintenance and accommodation in a favorable climate of the Kaliningrad region.
The initiators of the transportation are private individuals – caring people who are ready to help our younger brothers in the difficult geopolitical conditions of the actual transport blockade of Kaliningrad created by limitrophs.
Thanks to the efforts and already established operational cooperation of the Ministry of Infrastructure Development of the Kaliningrad Region, Oboronlogistics and its line agents in the ports of Ust-Luga and Baltiysk, all four-legged pets of the shelter were delivered on time in one piece.
