On November 13, 2023, representatives of Oboronlogistics participated in the XV International conference HEAVY RUSSIA in Moscow.
The conference is an important annual event for specialists in the transportation of heavy and oversized cargo in Russia and the CIS. About 300 delegates from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan and other countries took part. The conference was attended by representatives of leading domestic and foreign shippers and carriers, including Rusatom Cargo, JSC Russian Railways, FESCO and many others.
The central topic of discussion this year was the issues of transportation of project cargo in the current economic and geopolitical conditions, prospects for the development of project logistics in Russia and the CIS, new and old transport corridors, comparison of the Northern and Southern routes.
Russia is actively implementing strategies aimed at the construction of energy facilities abroad and infrastructure projects in Arctic, which today allows us to talk about the serious potential of the Russian market for project transportation of heavy equipment.
Oboronlogistics has extensive experience in carrying out project transportation by sea, including along the Northern Sea Route. This type of delivery is optimal for the transportation of heavy machinery and equipment, various electrical transformers, pipes for drilling, wind turbines, etc.
