Results of 2023

Oboronlogistics summed up the results of work in 2023. Despite the difficult geopolitical situation and work in conditions of severe sanctions restrictions from states unfriendly to the Russian Federation, Oboronlogistics managed to expand the scope and geography of its activities, increase the volume and profitability of its services.

The Oboronlogistics marine fleet, consisting of 8 vessels, continued to actively carry out cargo delivery tasks in the waters of the Baltic, Black, Mediterranean Seas and the Indian Ocean. As of December 28, 2023, the company's own and attracted fleet transported about 5.5 million tons of cargo, which is twice as much as in 2022 (about 2.6 million tons).

Vessels transported:
on the Ust-Luga – Baltiysk and St. Petersburg - Kaliningrad lines – 2,285 thousand tons (more than 28 thousand railway wagons, 21 thousand units of rolling equipment, 14 thousand containers);
on the Crimea– Caucasus line – 3,161 thousand tons of cargo (about 330 thousand passengers and 176 thousand pieces of equipment), 7,694 flights were made;
on international lines – 40 thousand tons.
More than 47,000 tons of cargo were transported by cars.

In February 2023, after the devastating earthquake in Syria and Turkey, Oboronlogistics ships transported humanitarian supplies and basic necessities to the affected regions. The transportation was carried out as part of the joint work of the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in the Syrian Arab Republic, as well as the charity foundation Pure Heart.

During one of these flights, the crew of the dry cargo ship Pizhma took part in a rescue operation in the Aegean Sea. 68 people from a yacht in distress were taken on board the cargo ship in difficult weather conditions. By Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, the crew members of the ship Pizhma were awarded medals for saving lives for their brave and decisive actions in rescuing people in extreme conditions.

The priority in the company's work in 2023 remained the operation of a ferry line connecting the Kaliningrad region with the main territory of Russia. At the end of 2023, in order to strengthen the Oboronlogistics flotilla in this direction, it was decided to relocate the dry cargo ship Pizhma from Novorossiysk to Baltiysk for further work on the container line between St. Petersburg and Kaliningrad.
