Pizhma against all frosts

From December 30, 2023, the dry cargo ship Oboronlogistics Pizhma has been operating on the new OBL-Line container line between St. Petersburg and Kaliningrad.

The vessel was relocated from the Black Sea to strengthen the Oboronlogistics flotilla, which ensures the delivery of goods to the Kaliningrad region and back.
Despite severe weather conditions and a record drop in temperature observed in the Baltic Sea at the beginning of 2024, Pizhma has already completed 3 voyages and transported more than 150 containers and more than 2,000 tons of general cargo.

 Pizhma is designed for transportation of any type of cargo. The vessel has a deck for containers and general cargo, two holds and two ship cranes (with a lifting capacity of 35 tons each). At maximum load per voyage, the vessel reaches speeds of up to 10 knots.
