The official launch of BID is coming!

Oboronlogistics pays great attention to the digitalization of its services and tries to use the most advanced technologies and domestic developments in its work. For example, at the beginning of 2024, Oboronlogistics and the Russian IT company Finfort made a deal to acquire the "Base of Intelligent Delivery" (BID), a digital cargo transportation platform for delivery exchange.

Finfort Group implements a number of fintech projects with its own team of IT developers who create and maintain digital platforms, automate processes, manage data, ensure cybersecurity and provide technical support to customers and partners; is a resident of Skolkovo and is included in the register of financial operators platforms of the Central Bank of Russia.

The BID platform automates freight transportation and allows you to ensure effective planning, dispatching, prompt shipment of goods at the lowest cost, as well as to carry out constant control at all stages of the provision of transport and logistics services.

The project has already been operating in test mode since December 2022, during which time a large number of carrier companies with their own fleet have been connected to the platform, which compete on a competitive basis during online bidding for the right to perform a particular transportation. The search time for transportation resources takes an average of 2 hours.

In cooperation with this digital platform, about 2.5 thousand flights were made and more than 50,000 tons of cargo were transported to dozens of cities of the Russian Federation, including new territories. In the very near future, the service will be officially launched. It is planned to further increase the dynamics of freight transportation.

The commissioning of the BID allows OBL-Trans to expand its competencies in the field of road transportation, to increase the potential and functionality of the Oboronlogistics Group of Companies by several times.
