The fruits of September

Oboronlogistics summed up the results of sea transportation performed in September 2024:

1. On the Crimea-Caucasus line, Oboronlogistika passenger ferries, despite the difficult weather conditions, made a total of about 150 round trips, transported about 10,000 passengers and 6,500 vehicles.

2. There were 4 ferries on the Ust-Luga – Baltiysk line (Ambal, Antey, Marshal Rokossovsky and General Chernyakhovsky).

In total, the ferries transported about 105,850 tons of cargo there and back (including 2,140 wagons and 1,762 units of rolling equipment). This is slightly lower than last month, as ferries made fewer voyages due to the storms traditional for the Baltic that began at the end of September. The main nomenclature of cargo, as always, was made up of fuels and lubricants and construction materials, fertilizers, as well as food.

3. In September, the universal dry cargo ship Sparta II operated on the St. Petersburg-Kaliningrad line, it transported 10,000 tons of cargo, the same as last month, including:

containers – 364 units (6,010 tons);

rolling equipment – 117 units (2,944 tons);

general cargo – 888 tons.
