Catching the Golden Autumn

From 9 to 12 October 2024, the 26th Russian Agro-Industrial Exhibition Golden Autumn, which is one of the most significant and large-scale events in the field of agriculture in the country, is being held in Moscow at the newest training and exhibition complex Timiryazev Center. 

The exhibition is attended by the main producers of the regions, modern agricultural machinery, products and services for agribusiness, as well as the best breeds of farm animals.

The achievements of the Kaliningrad region at the exhibition are represented, among other things, by pedigree lambs and cows, which were delivered from the enclave on a ferry operating on the Ust-Luga - Baltiysk railway-ferry line by the cargo operator Oboronlogistics.

 The ferry transported a road train with 15 cows, 30 lambs and accompanying persons, whose presence is mandatory, since the animals need to be fed and watered on the way. The escorts had the opportunity to comfortably sit in the cabins of the ferry.

The animals arrived at the opening of the exhibition on time and not ahead of schedule, so they did not have to stay in the van for a long time, which could have adversely affected their health and appearance.

Participation in the exhibition is a significant event for the Kaliningrad region, as breeding animals from the region annually win prizes and gold medals. In addition, it is a tremendous exchange of experience and the opportunity to find potential buyers.
