TransCont 2024

Oboronlogistics specialists took part in the VI International Conference TransCont 2024, which took place on November 28–29, 2024, with more than 200 delegates from Russia and the CIS countries gathering in Moscow to talk about the prospects of the industry.

The conference was held in the format of a constructive dialogue. The participants discussed trends in the Russian container market, in particular, the development of the North-South transport corridor through Iran, transportation along the Northern Sea Route, the current state of liner and ro-ro services to Russian ports, the increase in cargo traffic to the Big Port of St. Petersburg, and the readiness of the infrastructure for the transportation of dangerous goods.

 The company's specialists noted the practical significance of the event, which made it possible to analyze how the container transportation market in Russia is transforming, and also provided an opportunity to establish new and consolidate existing contacts, share experience and offer potential customers and partners unique solutions in the field of container transportation.

On a regular basis, Oboronlogistics carries out sea container transportation in the waters of the Northern Sea Route, actively works in the Baltic, connecting the seaports of Baltiysk and St. Petersburg. The company owns 8 sea vessels, 5 of which are po-po type vessels.

 In order to ensure optimal loading of vessels and the safety of cargo, Oboronlogistics actively uses its own container fleet, consisting of more than 1500 units of containers of various types, located in a number of regions of the Russian Federation and used in the interests of state and commercial customers.

In addition, Oboronlogistics has a license for the right to transport radioactive substances necessary in medicine on ships for the development of the sea shelf, geological exploration and use in other peaceful spheres of life.
