Oboronlogistics summed up the results of sea transportation performed in November 2024:
1. The situation on the Crimea-Caucasus line remains difficult due to the threat of shelling and storm warnings characteristic of this time of year. Oboronlogistika car ferries operating on the line made a total of 126 round trips, transported about 9,000 passengers and 5,600 vehicles.
2. All 5 ferries (Ambal, Antey, Baltiysk, Marshal Rokossovsky and General Chernyakhovsky) operated on the Ust-Luga – Baltiysk line.
In total, the ferries transported about 105,000 tons of cargo there and back (including 1,984 wagons and 2,263 units of rolling equipment). This is slightly lower than last month as ferries operated fewer flights due to intensified storms. The main nomenclature of cargo was made up of fuel, lubricants and construction materials, fertilizers, as well as food.
3. On the St. Petersburg – Kaliningrad line, the volume of transportation increased significantly due to containers and rolling equipment. Dry cargo ships Sparta II and Pizhma operated on the line, in total they transported 15,259 tons of cargo, including:
containers – 781 units (11,793 tons);
rolling equipment – 150 units (3,466 tons).
