Our Good Circus

The New Year without the circus? No way! Traditionally, ferries operating on the Ust-Luga - Baltiysk line assist in the transportation of circus equipment and four-legged artists to the Kaliningrad region before the start of the New Year holidays.

From December 21, 2024 to January 26, 2025, the touring circus tent will present a new festive show program Our Good Circus to residents and guests of Kaliningrad. The arena features unique performances of aerial gymnasts, tightrope walkers and acrobats, the illusion attraction Magic of Egypt, the cheerful clown duo Pi-lu-li and, of course, "our smaller brothers": donkeys and bears, erudite border collies and a mischievous juggler monkey.

Since it takes time to adapt animals, rehearse and set up equipment before the launch of a new performance, the Antey ferry transported vans with circus props and animals to Kaliningrad back in November 2024. Thanks to the efforts of Oboronlogistika specialists and its liner agents in the ports, the valuable cargo was delivered carefully, on time, as part of the planned tour activities.

In the context of the transport blockade of Kaliningrad, inflicted by unfriendly limitrophes, ferry transportation of vehicles with circus props, equipment and personal luggage of artists became the only way of delivery. Previously, ferries have already delivered the property of circus programs with the participation of tigers, lions, camels, buffaloes and other animals.

It should be noted that the transportation of pets in the cabins of the Ambal, Baltiysk, Marshal Rokossovsky and General Chernyakhovsky ferries is prohibited. On the passenger-and-cargo ferry Antey, pets are allowed to be transported and accommodated in the cabin with the passenger as hand luggage, provided that the relevant veterinary documents are available.
