Despite the aggravation of the general geopolitical situation in 2024, Oboronlogistics continued to work in the field of sea and road transportation in strategically important areas for the country: in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, the Kaliningrad region, the Republic of Crimea, the Middle East, as well as throughout the Russian Federation, including new regions. During the year, Oboronlogistics's own and attracted fleet and road transport transported about 4.5 million tons of cargo.
More than 2 million tons were transported on the Ust-Luga – Baltiysk and St. Petersburg – Kaliningrad lines (25 thousand railway cars, 26 thousand units of rolling equipment and 11 thousand containers). This is almost the same as in 2023. At the same time, the Ambal and Baltiysk ferries were under repair in turn in 2024, and from May 2024, in order to increase the carrying capacity of the line, the Antey cargo-passenger ferry was transferred to the cargo agency Oboronlogistic.
In 2024, the company's dry cargo ships Pizhma, Sparta and Sparta II operated on the container sea line between St. Petersburg and Kaliningrad. At the same time, Pizhma carried out sea transportation of goods at a fixed preferential integrated tariff rate (FLKTS) in the mechanism of subsidizing sea transportation to support shippers in the face of sanctions.
In 2024, Oboronlogistics launched a project to enter the market for the maritime transportation of radioactive materials. In December 2024, the first delivery of cargo of hazard class 7 from the Kaliningrad region to the main territory of the Russian Federation was made.
During the reporting period, Oboronlogistics ferries also transported about 2 million tons of cargo (more than 150 thousand passengers and 100 thousand pieces of equipment) on the Kavkaz port – Kerch/Crimea port line, 4.5 thousand voyages were made.
More than 20 thousand tons of general cargo were transported by Oboronlogistics vessels in the direction of the Middle East and to points in the Arctic. During the summer navigation period of 2024, the Oboronlogistics dry cargo ship Sparta IV made 4 coastal voyages, delivering various cargoes from Arkhangelsk to the port of Bukhta Sever necessary for the development of fields and the construction of a new terminal.
In 2024, more than 450 thousand tons of cargo (food, communication equipment, bridge structures, inert materials, groupage cargo) were transported by road and more than 21,000 trips were made - this is 10 times more than in 2023!
Against the backdrop of growing needs for road transportation, in 2024, Oboronlogistics launched a new digital platform - the Intelligent Delivery Exchange (BID), which allows you to choose a contractor through online bidding and carry out road transportation of the client's cargo as soon as possible at the best price. In the near future, the company plans to increase the volume of transportation and improve the quality of services provided.
We thank all our customers who have used the company's services. In the coming year, Oboronlogistics will be glad to see you among its partners. We wish you not to stop there, to achieve success and move forward to new shores.
