Entering the river transportation market

In connection with the active development of river transportation and as part of the expansion of transport competencies, the Oboronlogistics Group of Companies has also begun to implement its plan to enter the inland water transportation market and included the tugboat Bars in its fleet.

The vessel Bars is a twin-screw tugboat and is designed for pushing sectional and barge convoys, as well as towing barges. The length of the vessel is 37.61 m, the average draft is 2.16 m, the width is 8.20 m, the engine power is 800 horsepower, the estimated tractive effort is 10 tons.

The presence of a tugboat allows Oboronlogistics to implement the following areas of activity: transportation of project, oversized and large-tonnage cargo, including as part of a barge-towing complex, transportation of goods of various ranges (liquid, bulk, piece, oversized, container, oil products, gases, special equipment, etc.) along the inland waterways of the country in the interests of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, state customers and commercial organizations.
