Sparta II in Baltiysk

From March 11, 2025, the dry cargo ship Sparta II, owned by Oboronlogistic, resumes regular flights on the Kaliningrad - St. Petersburg line.

All types of sea containers and rolling equipment, including tracked, oversized and heavy, are accepted for transportation.

The Sparta II vessel has been operating on the line to Kaliningrad since October 2022 with short breaks for long-distance voyages. During this time, it transported more than 265,000 tons of cargo back and forth.

The Sparta II has a cargo hold and decks to accommodate containers and rolling equipment. The presence of ship cranes and a stern ramp allows for vertical and horizontal cargo handling. The length of the vessel is 121.7 m, the width is 18.7 m. At maximum load, the Sparta II has a deadweight of 8000 tons, a draft of 7 m and a speed of 11 knots.
