The status of river carrier is confirmed!

Oboronlogistics LLC continues to work on entering the inland water transportation market. In March 2025, the Russian Classification Society issued a document on the compliance of the safety management system with the requirements of Article 34 of Federal Law No. 24-FZ of March 7, 2021 Code of Inland Water Transport of the Russian Federation to OBL-Shipping LLC (a subsidiary of Oboronlogistics). The certificate is issued for a period of five years.

OBL-Shipping operates Oboronlogistics vessels operating in important strategic areas: the Ust-Luga – Baltiysk, St. Petersburg – Kaliningrad, Crimea – Caucasus sea lines, and also manages the river tug Bars.

The vessel Bars is designed for pushing and towing sectional and barge convoys. The length of the vessel is 37.61 m, the average draft is 2.16 m, the width is 8.20 m, the engine power is 1039 horsepower, the estimated tractive effort is 10 tons.

The inclusion of the tugboat in its own fleet allows Oboronlogistics to transport project, oversized and large-tonnage cargo by inland waterways in the interests of the Russian Ministry of Defense, government customers and commercial organizations.
