Safety of transportation of RM

From June 17 to June 19, 2025, specialists of OBL-Shipping (a subsidiary of Oboronlogistics) took part in the seminar "Topical Issues of Supervision of the Safety of Transportation of Radioactive Materials by All Modes of Transport", organized by the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision.

 The participants noted the high level of the seminar, which brought together representatives of leading transport companies, nuclear industry enterprises, ministries and departments of the Russian Federation.

 As part of the event, a report on the activities of OBL-Shipping in 2024 was presented. With competence and experience in the field of cargo transportation, the company spoke about the ability and readiness to carry out the transportation of goods of hazard class 7 by sea and river transport.

 In order to enter the market for the transportation of radioactive materials in 2024, OBL-Shipping received all the necessary licenses for the transportation of dangerous goods and the right to handle radioactive substances, the vessels were equipped with additional equipment, employees of coastal services improved their skills, and the crews underwent special training and instruction.

 At present, OBL-Shipping continues to work on obtaining a license from for the transportation of radioactive waste, and the process of obtaining a license for the transportation of nuclear materials is at the final stage.
