Oboronlogistics, as the operator of the Ust-Luga – Baltiysk railway-ferry line, continues to provide cultural events in the Kaliningrad region. In July 2025, ferries operating on the line delivered trucks with technical equipment and art props to the region for the filming of the next season of the TV series "Curious Varvara" about the adventures of a young detective and her friends.
The action of the new episode unfolds against the backdrop of the Baltic nature with its bays, spits, protected areas and national parks. The Kaliningrad region has become one of the centers of Russian cinema due to its unique locations, historical heritage and support from the regional authorities. The authors of the film emphasize the changes that have taken place here in recent years: the development of transport infrastructure, the construction of new hotels, parks, recreation areas and sports grounds, the restoration of cultural heritage sites and architectural monuments.
Oboronlogistics specialists always appreciate the opportunity to participate in supporting events designed to show the high-quality and rapid development of domestic tourism in the country and the attractiveness of the Kaliningrad region. Due to transit restrictions imposed by unfriendly limitrophes, film companies are already accustomed to sending filming equipment by sea. Transportation of fragile, expensive and requiring special conditions cargo on a ferry is optimal.
Thanks to the prompt work of Oboronlogistics and its line agents in the ports of Ust-Luga and Baltiysk, who are responsible for the transportation of rolling equipment, as well as the support of the Government of the Kaliningrad Region, the delivery of props was on time and without disruptions to the filming process. Viewers can only wait for new episodes.
Previously, ferries have already delivered materials for the filming of the spy drama "GDR", the detective series "Offline: 2.0", the action movie "Sea Devils", the feature and historical film "Vasily Terkin" and many other films.
