Oboronlogistics increases capacity in Kaliningrad

At the end of August 2025 Oboronlogistics vessels Pizhma and Sparta returned to the regular container line St. Petersburg – Kaliningrad, which significantly expands the logistics capabilities of customers and increases the carrying capacity of the line.

The ships Sparta and Sparta II have a cargo hold and decks for placing containers and rolling equipment. The presence of ship cranes and a stern ramp allows for vertical and horizontal cargo handling.

Pizhma is designed for transportation of all types of cargo, including dangerous (class 7). The vessel has a deck for containers and general cargo, two holds, one of which is equipped for the transportation of spent nuclear fuel. After repairs, the vessel improved its sailing performance, setting a speed record of 15 knots.

Thus, three vessels of the company are currently operating on the container line: Sparta, Sparta II and Pizhma. With the increase in the number of ships, the volume of cargo transported in August 2025 has already increased by 26% compared to last month.
