At the end of summer, according to tradition, the season of theater and film festivals started in Kaliningrad, which has become the Western cultural capital of Russia. And the ferries operating on the Ust-Luga - Baltiysk railway-ferry line, as always, took part in the transportation of theatrical props.

Thus, in August 2025, the property of the Baltic Seasons Arts Festival, the KOROCHE Short Film Festival, the Dzerzhinsky Drama Theater, the Pushkin Moscow Drama Theater, etc., was transported.

 Theatrical equipment, like many cargoes, fell under sanctions restrictions, which excluded the possibility of its transit through the territories of limitrophes. However, thanks to the prompt interaction of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Kaliningrad Region, the organizers of the tour, as well as the Oboronlogistics company and its liner agents in the ports of Ust-Luga and Baltiysk, the delivery of scenery and props was carried out on schedule, which made it possible to ensure that rehearsals, performances and festivals were held according to the approved schedule. 

The Ust-Luga – Baltiysk ferry line regularly transports special cargo, including museum exhibits, theatrical property and cinema equipment, between the Kaliningrad Region and the main territory of Russia, thereby supporting the fullness of the cultural life of the region.
