Oboronlogistics switched to the Russian OS

As part of the implementation of the state strategy for import substitution in the field of information and communication technologies, the server capacities of the Situation and Logistics Center of Oboronlogistics LLC (SLC) were transferred to a domestic software product.

To do this, Oboronlogistics entered into an agreement with the Russian developer of operating systems Inferit OS on the provision of licenses for the use of the domestic OS MSVSfera.

The cooperation is aimed at ensuring the technological independence and safe operation of the SLC.

Operating systems of the MSVSfera family, created on the Linux kernel, are included in the register of Russian software and are suitable for use in government and corporate organizations. Some versions are certified by the FSTEC.

The transition to a domestic platform will minimize the risks associated with the use of foreign software and ensure the long-term sustainability of the SLC infrastructure.

The SLC was created to ensure the interaction of onshore and offshore divisions of the Oboronlogistics Group of Companies, allows you to manage Oboronlogistika's own fleet in real time.

Oboronlogistics carries out transportation in the interests of government customers and commercial organizations, provides a full range of warehouse and logistics services, and has its own fleet and container fleet.

The company's vessels sail under the flag of the Russian Federation, operate on the strategic sea lines "St. Petersburg - Kaliningrad", "Crimea - the Caucasus", carry out transportation in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, and also deliver project cargo around the world.
