Bars is preparing for new tasks

The tugboat Bars, which is part of the Oboronlogistics fleet, is completing the towing of oversized cargo along the Volga-Baltic Canal and will soon be ready to perform new tasks on inland waterways.

Depending on the navigation areas and weather conditions along the route, different methods of towing are used: pushing - on rivers and canals, towing - on open water bodies (lakes and reservoirs).

Particular attention is paid to the locking process on the route: the tugboat team shows professionalism and accuracy when passing through the locks, ensuring the safety and continuity of delivery.

Due to its design, Bars carries out towing of project, oversized and large-tonnage cargo, as well as delivery of cargo of various ranges in a barge-towing train (liquid, bulk, container, oil products and special equipment).
