Year-end storm

Severe weather conditions caused by the cyclone's invasion of the atmosphere over the Baltic Sea may disrupt the schedule of the Ust-Luga – Baltiysk and St. Petersburg – Kaliningrad sea lines.

According to the Oboronlogistics Fleet Coordination Department, from December 27 to December 31, 2025, stormy weather is predicted at crossings in the Baltic Sea and the Gulf of Finland, as well as in ports, which may lead to delays in flights and cargo operations. Wave heights are expected to be more than 6 m and wind gusts are expected to be more than 30 m/s.
