Ust-Luga – Baltiysk: tariffs are stable!

The Ust-Luga - Baltiysk railway-ferry line, the cargo operator of which is Oboronlogistics, is operating normally.
Transportation tariffs remain unchanged for the fifth month in a row. The last indexation of tariffs for ferry transportation was carried out on December 1, 2025, since then the cost of services on the Ust-Luga – Baltiysk line has not increased.
The indexation procedure is strictly regulated: the increase in ferry tariffs occurs simultaneously and in the same amount as for railway transport (the railway tariff is indexed on the basis of orders of the Federal Antimonopoly Service).
Thus, the reports of a number of media that the current increase in fuel prices in the Kaliningrad region is associated with the cost of transporting petroleum products on the Ust-Luga – Baltiysk line are not true.
The stability of tariffs on the Ust-Luga – Baltiysk line is an important element affecting the economy of the entire region. The volume and nature of the delivered goods are determined taking into account the recommendations of the headquarters to ensure the transport accessibility of the Kaliningrad region.
