Sparta II is back on the line - the press center of the company "Oboronlogistics"

In early October 2026, the universal dry cargo ship Oboronlogistics Sparta II returned to the container line after undergoing scheduled repairs (as part of the next examination) and has already made the first round trip between St. Petersburg and Kaliningrad.

In the course of the repair, all mechanisms of the vessel were maintained, including the main engine, propeller-rudder complex, metal structures, electrical and navigation equipment, and the hull was painted. All the necessary classification documents were received.

The Sparta II ro-ro cargo vessel entered the St. Petersburg – Kaliningrad line in October 2022.
The presence of ship cranes (with a lifting capacity of 60 tons each) and a stern ramp makes it possible to carry out cargo handling by vertical
and horizontal methods. The length of the vessel is 121.7 m, the width is 18.7 m.

At maximum load, the Sparta II has a deadweight of 8,000 tons, a draft of 7 m and a speed of 11 knots.
